Ecija top MWP for rape nabbed
TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — Police arrested the town’s number one most wanted man after implementing an arrest warrant for rape against him during manhunt Charlie operations conducted here on Friday.
Nabbed was John John Miranda, 20, single, of Bgy. Kinalunaguyan, this town.
Town police commander Lt. Col. Jackyll I. Bilibli said joint operatives of the warrant and intel section of the local police along with the 1st and 2nd PMFC, NEPPO-PIU, NE-CIDG conducted the successful operation in Bgy. Bantug Hacienda at 10:15 a.m.
The suspect’s arrest was made by virtue of an arrest warrant for rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No, SD(21)-6626 issued by Branch 88, of the Baloc, Sto. Domingo regional trial court on October 1, 2021 with no bail recommended.
Bilibli said the arrested suspect is now locked up behind bars at the police jail for proper disposition.
