Ecija top cop assists MC rider, car driver involved in highway collision
SAN LEONARDO, Nueva Ecija – Nueva Ecija’s new top cop Col. Ferdinand D. Germino played “Good Samaritan” when he assisted a motorcycle rider who accidentally collided with a car while traversing the Maharlika Highway in this town yesterday morning.
Photos of the vehicular accident were posted in the Facebook page of the Nueva Ecija police office showing Germino, who assumed the top police post on September 3 or exactly five days ago, assisting both the rider and car driver involved in the smash-up.
Germino, who chanced upon the vehicular accident while conducting pro-active inspection to different police stations, also immediately called the concerned police station and medical team to provide emergency assistance to the victims.
In playing the role of a “Good Samaritan,” the new top cop reminded his men to perform their responsibilities as public servants with utmost diligence and responsibility at all times, and to always set an example for other men in uniform to follow.
