TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — The Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office based in this town announced the completion of two newly-constructed farm-to-market road projects in the towns of Cuyapo and Talugtug that are expected to spur economic development in their local communities.

Officer-in-charge-District engineer Armando Manabat said the two new road improvement projects, with a combined worth of P21.63 million and total length of 2.25 kilometers, are located in Bgy. Latap in Cuyapo and in Bgy. Buted in Talugtug.

Manabat said the twin projects were implemented by the DPWH-NE1ST-DEO, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture.

“The completion of the two road projects will greatly reduce the burden of farmers in transporting their agricultural products and we believe that these projects will make a significant contribution in improving their lives due to the enhancement in accessibility and mobility in these areas,” Manabat said.
