SAN JOSE CITY – Police nabbed this city’s most wanted person (MWP) with an arrest warrant for six counts of rape following manhunt operations conducted here on Friday morning.
City Police head PLt. Col. Palmyra D. Guardaya identified the arrested suspect as Joel Caliwliw, 47, of Bgy. Floresta, this city.
He was collared by virtue of an arrest warrant for six counts of rape issued by the Tayug, Pangasinan Regional Trial Court Branch 52 with no bail recommended for his temporary release.
Meanwhile, two other top most wanted felons facing drug charges in Baler, Aurora were also arrested in Talavera on the same day, said Police head Lt. Col. Jackyll I. Bilibli.
They were identified as Joel Bugarin, 38, and Michael Quezon, 38, both of Bgy. Pagasa – ranked no. 14 and 15 respectively in the municipal level’s most wanted list.
Bilibli said a bail of P240,000 for each accused was recommended by the court for their temporary liberty.
