EASY does it for San Miguel Beer.

San Miguel played just hard enough to roll back Blackwater, 105-86, for its second straight win in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Jericho Cruz led San Miguel’s assault, finishing with 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting in 27 minutes of action for new coach Jorge Gallent.

Import Cameron Clark added 20 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes and six-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo had a double-double performance with 17 markers and 16 boards.

CJ Perez and Marcio Lassiter contributed 24 and 13 points, respectively, for San Miguel, which debuted with a 114-93 victory over Phoenix Super LPG last Sunday..

“In our motto we’re just bringing in our defensive side to go with our offense,” said Gallent, referring to the Beermen holding the Bossing way below their tournament average of 105 points.

“They’re defending well so that’s why I think our offense is going up also, it’s because of their defense,” added Gallent.

A big factor for SanMiguel was Cruz, who was limited to only two points in the Beermen’s victory pver Phoenix.

Only three players, led by import Shawn Glover, finished in double figures for the Bossing, who dropped to 1-2.

Glover managed a double-double with 16 points on 7-of-19 shooting.and 12 rebounds.

Notably out of the scoring parade were Ato Ular, Jayvee Casio and Baser Amer, who managed a combined 16 points.

Later, NLEX rallied from a 13-point deficit to bring down erstwhileunbeaten TNT, 110-108, for its third straight win.
