Drugs seized from mechanic in Laguna
A 41-YEAR-OLD mechanic and his 31-year-old female cohort were nabbed on Wednesday by operatives of Calamba police Drug Enforcement Team (DET)
after allegedlh selling illegal drugs worth P500 to a police officer who acted as poseur buyer in Calamba City, Laguna.
Calamba City Police chief P/LT. Col. Arnel Pagulayan identified the arrested suspects as Rodel Gomez and Ruffa Santillian, both residents of Majada In Bgy. Canlubang.
P/LT. Col Pagulayan, in his report to Laguna Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II, said that at about 8:45 p.m. the Drug Enforcement Team of the Calamba Police led by PMajor Ajalino Balaoro and members of the PDEA Laguna conducted a buy bust in Bgy. Canlubang.
Seized during the operation plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth some P20,400, a coin purse, 10 P20 bills, a wallet and the P500 buy bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to the Calamba police for proper disposition.
