Driver, helper caught in Laguna pot session
A 41-YEAR-OLD driver and 47-year-old helper nabbed were caught in act in a pot session while a jobless man was arrested for drug pushing in separate operations Saturday in Laguna.
Police Provincial Director, Police Col. Rogarth Bulalacao Campo, in a report to Calabarzon Regional Director, Police BGen Antonio Candido Yarr, identified the arrested suspects as Denmark Gutib, of Bgy. Canlalay, Biñan City, and Dives Anabe Jr. Of Southville San Pedro City, Laguna.
The Biñan Police Station headed by P/Lt. Col. Jerry Corpuz,officer-in-charge had received a tip about the pot session inside a shanty in Tramo Lawa Bgy. Canlalay, Binan City, Laguna who caught in the act engaging in pot session inside a shanty house.
Seized during the operation were a transparent plastic sachet with traces of suspected shabu residue, an aluminum foil strip, rolled aluminum foil tooter and two disposable lighters.
Meanwhile, the Calamba police led byP/Lt. Col. Arnel L Pagulayan, Chief of Police, arrested Jon Jon Garay of Bgy. Parian Calamba City Laguna,, for allegedly selling P500 worth of illegal drugs to a police officer who acted as a poseur buyer.
