DOT Iloilo locked down due to Covid-19
THE office of the Department of Tourism Region Office 6 was placed on a lockdown after 12 of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Temporarily closed was the DOT office at Casa Real de Iloilo Building in Iloilo City.
The DOT 6 said the lockdown started last Monday .
Work at the office was suspended.
“Our transacting public can still reach us through the email address posted on DOT 6 Western Visayas Facebook page,” the local DOT, in a public advisory, said.
The DOT 6 said the infected employees are already in an isolation facility. Most of them are asymptomatic while the others have mild symptoms.
Health authorities immediately conducted contact tracing to prevent the spread of the disease.
