DILG lauds SC’s final anti-terror law ruling
THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), together with its attached agencies and entire workforce nationwide, welcomes and applauds the decision of the Supreme Court to deny with finality the appeals challenging the constitutionality of Republic Act No. 11479 or the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.
DILG said, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), “We are now more committed to carrying out President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s goal of leaving a legacy of peace by finally ending the insurgency, terrorism, and other threats to peace in our country.”
