WORK in all consular offices and temporary off-site passport services sites of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) are suspended on Oct. 31, a special non-working holiday.

In a public advisory yesterday, the DFA-Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) said passport applicants scheduled on that date will be accommodated on Nov. 2.

“To be accommodated, applicants must present their confirmed application packet which shows that their original schedule is on 31 October 2022,” it said.

“In case the applicants are not available on the said rescheduled date, they may be accommodated at the Consular Offices and TOPS within 30 days of the reschedule date,” it added.

Affected authentication applicants with confirmed appointments at the DFA-Aseana will be accommodated on Nov. 2.

An email will be sent to the concerned applicants to confirm their new appointment schedule.

They must print out the new email with your new schedule and bring their documents for authentication on their new appointment date.

Meanwhile, affected authentication applicants with confirmed appointments in other COs will be accommodated within 30 days from Oct. 31.

“Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 31 October 2022,” the DFA-OCA said. Philippine News Agency
