Naglabas na ng pahayag si Chito Miranda hinggil sa pagkaka-aresto ng kanyang misis na si Neri Naig nitong Nov. 23 dahil sa kasong paglabag umano sa Securities Regulation Code (Section 28 of R.A. 8799).

Sa Instagram ay ipinagtanggol ng Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist ang kanyang misis at sinabing wala itong kasalanan.

“Praying na ma-sort out na ang lahat ng ito… kawawa naman yung asawa ko,” simula ng singer.

“Never nanloko si Neri, at never sya nanlamang sa kapwa. Never siyang kumuha or nanghingi ng pera kahit kanino man. Alam ng lahat yan,” paglilinaw ni Chito.

“Tulong lang sya ng tulong hangga’t kaya nya. Minsan kahit di na nakakabuti sa kanya.

“Kadalasan nga, naaabuso na sya pero hinahayaan nya nalang, basta wala syang ginawang masama. Pinapa sa Diyos nya na lang,” patuloy niya.

Nilinaw ni Chito na endorser lang si Neri at ginamit ang mukha ng misis niya para makakuha ng investors.

“Tulad ngayon, endorser lang sya tapos ginamit yung face nya to get investors. Kinasuhan sya ng mga nabiktima,” aniya.

Ibinahagi rin ni Chito ang ilang detalye ng pagkaka-aresto kay Neri last week. Aniya ay wala man lang silang natanggap na sulat o subpoena o kahit anong notice at bigla na lang dinampot ang asawa.

“Tapos last week, bigla na lang syang inaresto for the same case kahit hindi pa sya binigyan ng notice na may bagong criminal complaint pala laban sa kanya, and di nya na-defend yung sarili nya.

“Wala syang nareceive na letter from the prosecutor, walang subpoena, walang kahit anong notice,” aniya.

“Yung mga dati, nareceive namin nya, at nag comply sya, (alam naman ng lahat na madali kami mahanap sa Alfonso)

“Anyway, dinampot na lang sya bigla,” pahayag ni Chito.

“Nadismiss na yung mga similar na kaso sa ibang lugar, and we’re praying na sana ma-dismiss na din ito,” aniya.

Paglilinaw pa ni Chito, “Wala siyang kinuhang pera sa ibang tao, lahat ng pera nila na kay Chanda, ang may ari ng Dermacare.”

“Sobrang bait po ni Neri… as in sooobra,” pagtatanggol pa niya sa asawa.

“Eto yung babaeng kinulong ninyo without bail, habang nakalaya pa yung mga tunay na may kasalanan,” ang pagtatapos ni Chito.

Ipinost din ng singer ang letter of apology ng Dermacare kay Neri sa pagkakasangkot nito sa issue.

Narito ang buong nilalaman ng sulat:

Taking sides in a complex financial dispute can escalate the situation and hinder our ability to reach an equitable resolution. It is crucial that we allow the proper channels and legal processes to unfold, enabling us to find a fair solution that respects the rights and interests of all parties.

“We believe in fairness and transparency, and we are committed to resolving this issue as swiftly as possible. There were already some group of investors who have shown support on resolving this problem internally thus allowing us to continue the business and deliver what is due to the investors.

“We value your dedication to your name and the positive influence you have on your audience. Thus, by remaining neutral and allowing the appropriate procedures to take place, you can help us maintain our commitment to our partners.
