Degamo slay ‘main player’ caught, case 99% solved — Remulla
JUSTICE Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla revealed on Friday that the controversial killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo which resulted in the deaths of eight civilians is 99% solved.
According to Remulla, a “major player” in the killing of the Negros governor was arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Although Remulla declined to provide additional information citing ongoing investigations, he assured the public that he would divulge any new developments next week.
He likened the arrest to solving a puzzle, stating that a crucial piece had finally been put in place.
The killing of Degamo sparked widespread controversy, and the public has been eagerly anticipating any progress in the case.
