Davao cops net 3 HVTs
POLICE Regional Office 11 (PRO11) Director Brigadier General Benjamin H. Silo Jr. on Tuesday announced the arrest of three “high-value drug targets” in Southern Mindanao during an anti-narcotics operation in Panabo City in Davao del Norte.
According to Silo, members of the Panabo City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, with the help of the local Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), arrested the three last Sunday.
He said that recovered during the anti-narcotics operation were an estimated P85,000 worth of shabu and the buy-bust money.
According to the PRO11 director, one of the suspects has been identified as a “drug den maintainer” in their neighborhood.
All three suspects now face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
