A FATHER of three in Ilocos Sur was believed to have hanged himself due to money woes and the raging pandemic.
According to Sgt. Louis Valdez, Jr., tjhe man was a chief tanod and resident if Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur.
Valdez said the victim was a collector of jai-alai amd had three young children.
The victim’s wife was reportedly working in Qatar.
Valdez said officials got a phone call from Brgy. Captain Neil Sanchez informing about the alleged suicide.
PNP personnel immediately responded and rushed the victim to the hospital.
The victim was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Philip Ko, the attending physician.
Investigation showed the victim had family and financial problems based on his message to his wife that he was allegedly going to commit suicide, Valdez added.
