PRESIDENT Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. completed yesterday (Friday) the first nine months of administration.

Marcos immediatetely waged a total war against poverty, unemployment, homelessness, unwarranted price increases and smuggling of agricultural produts and illegal drugs.

The Ilocano Chief Executive’s “war” is paying good dividends, according to various sectors of Philippine society, including constructive critiics.

For instance, more businesses resumed operations across the country after the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, enabling displaced workers to return to their work.

With the full reopening of the Philippine economy, businessmen and even the ordinary consumers see brighter prospects in the second quarter of the year (April-June).

“Marami ang umaasa, kasama na ang mga walang trabaho sa kalungsuran at kanayunan, na lalong sisigla ang ekonomiya sa mga susunod na buwan,” according to analysts.

And with the launching of more infrastructure projects in various parts of the country, more jobless Filipinos, including former migrant workers, are expected to find jobs.

Certainly, the crusading Marcos presidency is on track addressing the various problems confronting the Philippines and the people.

As well-meaning local government officials said, “keep on punching, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. for the sake of the more than 110 million Filipinos.”
