Crime suspects nabbed in Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur
CAMP GEN. FLORENDO, La Union–Policemen arrested a suspected leader of a crime group facing murders and frustrated murder cases in Brgy. Naguilayan, Binmaley, Pangasinan.
Citing reports from his men, B/Gen. John Chua, police director, said joint elements of Pangasinan PNP (lead unit), Binmaley PNP, Tambo Police Sub-station, Parañaque, at around 1:10 AM, in an operation in Brgy. Naguilayan, Binmaley, Pangasinan arrested Arnulfo Cerezo Alipio, aka Anong, an alleged member of the Sison Group.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office (ISPPO), headed by Col. Jugith J. del Prado, police director, commended Monday Police Executive Master Sergeant (PEMS) Reynald Ramos, for his courageous act that resulted to the apprehension of a crime suspect.
“In recognition of his exemplary performance and invaluable services rendered as arresting officer during the successful arrest of Reymart Vicente, a resident of PUg-os, Cabugao town, last September 13, during the conduct of Intel driven COMELEC checkpoint along the highway of Banuar, San Juan,” said Col del Prado in his Certificate of Recognition to PEMS Ramos.
Vicente was arrested based on warrant of arrest issued by Judge by Homer Jay Ragonjan, of RTC branch 24, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur for statutory rape, a non-bailable case.
