NOVELETA, Cavite – The local government here has taken immediate action to curb the rapid rise of coronavirus cases which recorded 147 active cases as of August 21, 2021.

The latest report of the Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit of the Noveleta Health Office dated August 21, 2021 showed Noveleta has 1,155 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 147 active cases, 973 recoveries and 35 fatalities.

“Kung mapapansin nyo po, nag-iikot ang RHU, MDRRMO kasama ang mga Kapulisan bawat barangay upang pagsabihan ang ating mga kababayan na manatili na muna sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan, hindi na po biro ang pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID sa ating lugar,” said Mayor Dino Chua in a telephone interview.

Vaccination continues at the Primark Town Center from Monday to Friday for A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 priority groups or health care workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, economic frontliners and indigents.
