MALABON City Councilor Jose Lorenzo “Enzo” Oreta filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) as mayor of Malabon on Sunday at Brgy Catmon Multi-purpose Hall together with the complete line-up of candidates for the first and second district of the city under the banner, “Team Pamilyang Malabonian.”

Just last September, various sectors from transport, workers, institutional, special needs and family cluster from the city formed a coalition called Proud Malabonian Movement endorsed him as the mayoralty candidate that they will support, citing his commendable performance as councilor who is known for advancing projects that will uplift the lives of the people of Malabon.

“Narinig at tinatanggap natin ang panawagan ng Proud Malabonian Movement at ng iba pa nating mga Kaasenso na tayo ang magpapatuloy ng pag-asenso ng ating Lungsod. Naniniwala po ako: Tayo ay Kaasenso ng bawat isa,” Oreta emphasizes.

After a morning mass, Oreta proceeded to file his COC in Brgy Catmon and was warmly welcomed by his supporters from various sectors. He filed his COC together with his vice-mayor tandem Ninong Dela Cruz and re-electionist Rep. Jaye Lacson-Noel who is running again for congress. He was also accompanied by his brother, incumbent mayor Lenlen Oreta.
