Cops rescue kidnapped Chinese nat’l in Indang
INDANG, CAVITE — Police rescued a Chinese kidnap victim who had escaped from his abductors and was found roaming in front of the Don Aldrin Bus Terminal in Barangay Mataas na Lupa in this locality, 5:30am of Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
Officer-on-case Police Corporal Ronnel Taguibao identified the victim as Gan Zuo Qi, male, 30, a native of Liaoning, China, and presently residing at Two Lafayette Square, Tordesillas St, Salcedo Village, Makati City.
The victim had bruises on the neck, chest and back.
Initial investigation showed the victim was kidnapped by five men in Pasay City at around 9 p.m.
The victim managed to escape after allegedly giving P300, 000 to his kidnappers through online bank transfer using his cellphone.
Gan was brought to the Indang police station for further investigation and proper disposition.
