Cops nab MWP for murder
GABALDON, Nueva Ecija – A 30-year-old man with a standing arrest warrant for murder in Dingalan, Aurora fell into police’s hands during manhunt operations conducted here on Tuesday.
In his report to Nueva Ecija Police chief Col. Jess B. Mendez, town police chief Major Aniceto L. Caraang Jr. identified the nabbed suspect as Roger Vicencio, a Dumagat, of Bgy. Bugnan.
Vicencio is listed as the no. 2 most wanted person in Dingalan, Aurora.
He was arrested after authorities implemented an arrest warrant for murder issued by Baler, Aurora Judge Armando A. Yanga with no bail recommended.
Caraang said the suspect did not resist arrest when joint operatives from the Gabaldon Police, Dingalan, Aurora PPO, the 3rd Platoon, 1ST PMFC, Alpha Company-91st IB, and the Patrulya ng Bayan cornered him at his hideout in Sitio Pagsanghan, Bgy. Bugnan at 1 p.m.
The town police head said the arrested suspect has been turned over to the custody of the Dingalan Police for proper disposition.
