According to the PNP-ACG director, the erring NCRPO-RPHAS personnel was arrested during an entrapment inside Room 607 of Vista Hotel located in Bgy. San Martin de Porres in Cubao, Q.C. past 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The sting was conducted by members of the PNP-ACG Women and Children Cybercrime Protection Unit led by Lieutenant Colonel Irene Cena with the assistance of operatives from the Q.C. Police District Station 7 following a complaint from a 27-year old resident of Manggahan, Pasig City who used to be a girlfriend of the accused.

Brig. Gen. Rodriguez said their investigation showed the woman had an intimate relationship with the policeman after meeting him in Pasig City.

The complainant said the cop recorded their sexual acts a number of times and even took pictures and videos of her naked body.

Last September, the policeman reportedly got mad when the woman told him she wanted to end their relationship.

To win her back, the cop reportedly threatened the woman that he will her nude photos and videos in different social media platforms if she won’t have sex with him again.

Last Wednesday, the cop arranged for a meeting with the woman inside the Cubao hotel and told her he will delete her explicit videos and photos in exchange for sex.

Unknown to him, the woman had already sought the assistance of the PNP-ACG whose agents launched the entrapment operation with the assistance of QCPD Station 7 officials and QCPD director, Brig. Gen. Antonio C. Yarra.

Brig. Gen. Rodriguez said the policeman is now being held at the PNP-ACG headquarters lock-up facility while criminal and administrative charges for grave misconduct are being readied against him.

Rodriguez said they will recommend to NCRPO director, Major Gen. Vicente D. Danao Jr. the conduct of summary dismissal proceedings against the accused for his grave offense. The background of the accused is also being investigated to determine why he was transferred to the NCRPO-RPHAS which is a temporary holding unit for NCRPO members.

The cellphone was found containing the woman’s naked photos and videos. Also recovered from the possession of the suspect were three identification cards.
