ANTIPOLO City — Converge made it four wins in a row by beating Blackwater Bossing, 77-71, in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center here Sunday.

Quincy Miller overcame foul trouble in the first half and still managed to score 22 points on 9-of-22 shooting in 34 minutes of action. He added 19 rebounds and four blocks.

Alec Stockton added a career-high 15 points and eight rebounds and Abu Tratter had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the FiberXers, who improved to 5-2 win-loss record.

Justine Arana and Jeron Teng added eight points each for coach Aldin Ayo.

Arana, however, left the game late in the tgird quarter after suffering what appeared to be a left hamstring injury.

Cameron Krutwig led Blackwater with 16 points on 6-of-17 on the floor in 36 minutes of action.

Krutwig, who also had 15 rebounds, also suffered a hamstring injury late in thexl second period and saw limited minutes the rest of the way.

Rey Suerte added 15 points, Ato Ular contributed 13 points and Yousef Taha had 10 points for coach Ariel Vanguardia.and the Bossing, who dropped to 3-5 win-loss record.

The FiberXers dominated the Bossing in rebounds department with 74-51 advantage.
