Construction worker stabbed to death in QC
A CONSTRUCTION worker was stabbed to death while walking on his way home in Quezon City (QC) on Sunday.
Police investigators said the victim, identified as Bernard Rodriguez, 38, was walking along an alley in Barangay Balon Bato at around 6:00 p.m. when an unidentified assailant repeatedly stabbed him.
His body was found by a concerned citizen, who immediately informed the police.
A barangay ambulance brought the victim to the Quezon City General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physician at around 6:47 p.m.
Investigators said Rodriguez succumbed to multiple stab wounds on the body.
Police are conducting a follow-up operation to identify and locate the suspect.
