TINUTUKAN ng buong Pilipinas at maging sa ibang bansa na naaabot ng The Filipino Channel (TFC) ang tinaguriang Pambansang Pagtatapos ng iconic action-drama series, ang “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” na pinagbidahan ni Coco Martin na siya ring tumayong isa sa mga director at creative head.

Nakapagtala ng record high na 536,543 sa Kapamilya Online Live ang pagtatapos ng serye last Friday, August 12 plus may multiplier effect pa ito dahil pami-pamilya ang nanood sa makapigil-hiningang pagtatapos ng makasaysayan and most popular local TV series of all time.

Nalungkot lamang ang mga manonood dahil napatay lahat (except for Cardo) ang mga kasamahan niya sa Task Force Agila including the characters nina Angel Aquino, Shaina Magdayao, Raymart Santiago, Michael de Mesa, John Prats, Mark Solis at iba pa na nagbuwis ng kanilang buhay sa gitna ng pagtupad ng kanilang tungkulin. Pero masuwerte ang magkakahiwalay na characters nina Rowell Santiago (as Pres. Oscar Hidaldo), Sharon Cuneta (as Aurora Guillermo), Julia Montes (as Mara Guillermo), Whitney Tyson at iba pa dahil nanatili silang buhay.

Ang seryeng “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” ay nagsilbing pagbibigay-pugay ni Coco sa kanyang idolo, ang yumaong Movie King na si Fernando Poe, Jr. kaya walang hanggang pasasalamat na kanyang ipinaabot hindi lamang sa pamilya nina FPJ at misis nitong si Susan Roces na naging bahagi ng serye ng halos pitong taon, sa bumubuo ng cast, production team sa ABS-CBN at sa Dreamscape at higit sa lahat sa mga taong tumutok sa serye sa loob ng pitong taon mula sa pagsisimula nito in 2015.

Dahil sa enormous success ng “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” tiyak na isa namang FPJ classic movie ang isusunod ni Coco na gagawing serye at isa sa rito ay ang “Batang Quiapo” na napupusuan umano ng actor-director na gawin.

In the meantime, pagkatapos ng “Pasasalamat Tour” ng “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” sa iba’t ibang lugar ng bansa, haharapin muna ng actor-director ang pang-Metro Manila Film Festival movie niyang “Labyu with Accent,” isang romance-comedy-action movie na pagtatambalan nila ni Jodi Sta. Maria na siya rin ang magdi-direk using his real name (bilang director) na Rodel Nacianceno.

May isa na ring tapos na pelikula si Coco, his reunion movie with his rumored longtime partner na si Julia Montes, ang “Pola” (Red Earth) na pinamahalaan ni Brillante Mendoza and was hot in Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

Sa sobrang bigat ng seryeng “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” tiyak na pahinga muna si Coco sa paggawa ng serye at malamang na early next year na siya muling bumalik sa telebisyon.

Plano nina Jessy at Luis na magpakasal sa simbahan, naudlot

DAPAT sana’y may planong magpakasal sa simbahan ang celebrity couple na sina Luis Manzano at Jessy Mendiola pero dahil sa pagbubuntis ngayon ng aktres ay mauurong ito to a much later date.

Surprise blessing ito para sa dalawa.

“No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best.

“We decided to share this wonderful news with you through a video shot in one of God’s houses – a beautiful chapel in Benguet.

“For now, our planned church wedding will have to take a backseat until our bundle of joy arrives. This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives. Indeed, with God all things are possible,” pahayag pa ni Jessy sa kanyang IG post.

An abundant birthday month for Iza

LIFE begins at 40, so they say.

On her 40th birthday last August 12, actress Iza Calzado shared on her IG the biggest surprise birthday gift she ever had, ang kanyang pagbubuntis after almost four years of being married to her Fil-Brit businessman husband na si Ben Wintle.

“They say life begins at 40.

“So I had all these big plans for my 40th year on Earth as it also coincides with the 20th year in the industry. I already completed a few of the exciting projects lined up for me and there were a few dream projects in the pipeline. I was ready to usher in this new chapter in my life,” simula niya.

“Then you came along. Unexpectedly. You have not have been in my immediate plans but I instinctively knew tht his was THE plan.

“In my forty years I have come to discern when God is steering me to a different direction. A path I may not have though of yet it always turns out to be the best for me. So now, I surrender to His will with no resistance.

“God’s plans are always far greater than mine and I humbly accept this new chapter of my life with a heart filleD with gratitude, casting all my fears and worries aside and simply trusting in the divine timing and wisdom of life. Something deep inside me knows that you will propel me to greater heights to soar higher that ever before in ways I cannot even begin to imagine. You will give me THE WHY, THE PURPUSE, THE DIRECTION in life as we build, along with Ben—your dad, a FAMILY!

Nanghihinayang lamang ang aktres na hindi na inabutan ng kanyang parents ang kanilang magiging unang apo dahil ten years apart sumakabilang buhay ang kanyang mom na si Mary Ann (2001)at amang si Lito Calzado, isang veteran choreographer-dancer-director na sumakabilang-buhay nung 2011 dahil sa liver cancer. Pero natitiyak ni iza na masaya ang kanyang yumaong mga magulang for her and husband na si Ben.

Si Iza ay may nakatatandang kapatid na si Dash Calzado.
