CL’s 7 most wanted fall
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Central Luzon police arrested seven of the region’s most wanted persons (MWPs) on the first Monday of September, according to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr..
In Nueva Ecija, three MWPs were captured in separate manhunt operations.
The three were identified as Jericho Saromenez, Top 4 regional MWP, of Purok Dike, Cabanatuan City, for two counts of statutory rape; Rolando Fernando, Top 6 municipal MWP, of Bgy. Bentigan, Cuyapo, for theft and robbery; and Romer Taguim, Top 1 municipal MWP, of Bgy. San Josef, Peñaranda, for grave threat.
In Tarlac, Roland Santos, the Top 2 regional MWP, of Bgy. Anupul, Bamban, was arrested for five counts of rape by sexual assault and violation of Republic Act 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law of 1997.
In Bataan, two MWPs were apprehended. They were identified as John Calasicas, of Bgy. Balsik, Hermosa, who was caught for violation of the new Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016; and Emmanuel Bustamante, of Bgy. Camaya, Mariveles, who was nabbed for the same violation.
Also, joint personnel from the Macabebe police and other units executed a warrant of arrest against Mario Caballa, Top 10 provincial MWP, in Bgy. Dalayap, Macabebe, Pampanga, for acts of lasciviousness.
“These successful operations demonstrate the unwavering commitment of our law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of Central Luzon communities,” Hidalgo said.
