CLICK Party-list gains headway in Calabarzon
LEADING technology group Click Party-list thanked supporters for their continued trust as they had gained headway and are among the top choices by voters, particularly in the CALABARZON area.
Click No. 34 first nominee and digital lawyer Atty. Nicasio “Nick” Conti said the growth in awareness and support emanates from the common desire of every Filipino – to have a faster and better connectivity for improved education, communication and public service.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa patuloy na lumalaki at mainit na suporta. Lumang plaka man sabihin pero kami ay katotohanan na hindi mapapakong pangako. Ipaglalaban natin sa Kamara ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino sa koneksyon, teknolohiya at pagpapaangat ng antas ng buhay ng bawat Pilipino,” Atty. Conti said.
“We will work to ensure that there will be better and more jobs that Filipinos can be part of. Pwede online work na malaki sweldo para sa pamilya,” he added.
Citizens and netizens had clamored for new faces in Congress, saying the new personalities should be knowledgeable in the legal proceedings and not just a namesake o a surname of other people.
“Iba naman. Yung marunong at talagang ipinaglalaban ka. Parang kape, paggising mo pa lang, maipaglalaban ka sa buong maghapon minsan hanggang gabi. Kaya suportado namin ang Click. Mag number 34 na tayo sa balota,” a netizen posted on the Click Party social media page.
Click is running under the number 34 in the ballots.
Click had earlier called for a 20 percent student discount for students when buying a load.
This gained massive support from the public particularly the students who uses prepaid services of telco.
“Ang matitipid nila ay magagamit sa iba pang pantustos sa pangangailangan sa eskwelahan. Isa lamang iyan sa marami nating naiisip na gawin sa kongreso para sa ikagagaan ng buhay ng mamamayan,” Conti said.
This was echoed immediately by Senator Francis Tolentino who filed such a bill before the upper chamber.
“Tulungan niyo kami na makasampa sa Kongreso para matulungan namin kayo na makasampa sa susunod at mas magandang estado ng buhay,” Conti said, reminding the public to support no. 34 in the party list votes, Click.
