CJ Gesmundo seeks support of Filipino-Chinese community
THE Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) was presented with the Supreme Court’s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022-2027 (SPJI) during the FFCCCII’s 33rd Biennial Convention at the East Ocean Palace Restaurant in Paranaque City.
Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo spoke as the guest of honor and acknowledged the Filipino-Chinese community’s contributions to the nation’s growth and development.
Gesmundo praised the community for their success in politics, business, and commerce, which he attributes to their resilience, perseverance, adaptability, and unity.
He emphasized that being Filipino is about shared values, a love for country, and a commitment to its betterment, not origin, ethnicity, language, or religion.
The Chief Justice also shared that the SPJI is a plan to review and assess the organizational structure and operations of the various offices of the judiciary and to establish its information and communications technology infrastructure.
He expressed confidence that the Filipino-Chinese community’s unique cultural identity, shaped by their distinct history, will propel the nation towards progress and prosperity.
