Cindy vs AJ: Men’s choice

July 30, 2021 People's Journal 387 views

VIEWERS will feast their eyes on the gorgeous bodies of former Bb. Pilipinas Tourism Cindy Miranda and sexy nymphet AJ Raval in Viva Films’ ‘Nerisa,’ a sex thriller. Between the two, it is Cindy who is getting publicity mileage when her name was dragged in the break’-up of the mariage of celebrity couple, Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla.

Cindy threw cautions to the wind in her sexy scenes with Aljur who plays her husband in ‘Nerisa’ which seems to bear slight similarity with the classic film, Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa. In the movie, she plays Nerisa, a sultry, mysterious woman sans a horse to ride on. The islanders blame her for all the kamalasan happening since she arrived in the island.

AJ, for her part, has her share of intimate scenes with new hunk on the block Sean de Guzman who teased the gay community in Anak ng Macho Dancer. AJ is the daughter of former action star Jeric Raval who at first didn’t approve seeing AJ doing bold flicks. Payag na siya ngayon but there are limits. After all, hindi naman gumagawa ng porn ang Viva.

And so we ask: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the sexiest of them all? Uncover the secrets of Nerisa when it starts streaming on Vivamax on July 30.

Songs from Janine’s room

JANINE Teñoso blooms as music artist on her first solo EP titled ‘Kwento sa Silid’ released by Viva Records. The set include 5 originals (and a bonus track) that Janine co-wrote with Euwie Von Loria of This Band and Arthur Nery who is featuring in the first single, the vibe-filled ‘Pelikula’. Since the release the carrier track surpassed more than a hundred thousand listeners on Spotify. Suffice it to say. There is good chemistry between the two.

Kwento include unreleased tracks Ghosts in the Room, the first english song Janine has written. The Art of Letting Go and Paano also comprise the set as well as a recut version of Umibig Muli, a 2020 song that now features Sam Concepcion.

As for the album title, Kwento sa Silid are basically songs that Janine with acoustic guitar in hand, wrote and have been singing by herself in her room.

A hit out of boredom

THE singer not the song. Or is the other way around? The song Ulap by 17-year old Rob Deniels has streamed more than 55M on Spotify and YouTube. The song was born out of boredom. Rob found himself strumming his guitar, a gift from his father and the words and music just flowed. He recorded and produced it only using his phone and headset as microphone. He posted it on Tiktok since people use the app nowadays. His post earned lots of comments.

Viva Records entered into the picture and the rest is history. His new single is about mental health. Rob says he prefers people listening to his music than gain popularity.
