Chinese nat’l involved in ‘gang rape’ of Asian women collared in Pasay
ONE of the eight Chinese nationals who “gang-raped” a Vietnamese and Cambodian women they had earlier abducted was arrested by elements of Pasay Police Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Thursday evening in Pasay City.
Southern Police District (SPD) Acting Director P/Col. Kirby John Brion Kraft identified the arrested suspect as Ning Yangquiang, 34, while a follow-up operation is still ongoing for the possible arrest of seven others, believed to be Chinese nationals.
Investigation showed that the victims were abducted along Moana Street, Barangay 70 in Pasay by unidentified Chinese nationals on board a rented Toyota Vios but later escaped at around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, after being “gang-raped” by eight alleged Chinese nationals.
The victims sought police assistance, prompting CID operatives led by P/Lt. Dennis Desalisa to conduct a follow-up operation until they traced the vehicle, with the help of GPS provided by the owner of the rented car, along Macapagal Blvd. near MOA Arena, SM-MOA Complex at around 10:00 p.m. Thursday resulted in the arrest of Ning Yangquiang.
Police recovered from the suspect a caliber .9mm pistol with a magazine loaded with eight live ammunition, while a small box containing drug paraphernalia and two plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 10 grams valued at P68,000 were recovered inside his driven rented vehicle.
Acting SPD Director Col. Kraft lauded the personnel of Pasay CPS (Community Precinct Station) for the successful arrest of the suspect as well as the rescue of the two foreign nationals.
