Chief tanod shot dead in Ilocos
STO DOMINGO, Ilocos Sur – Suspected hired killers shot dead a chief tanod Tuesday afternoon in Brgy. Cabaritan, Sto Domingo, Ilocos Sur.
A police report identified the victim as Tirzo Rin, 50, chief tanod and a resident of Brgy Suksukit, Sto. Domingo.
The suspects managed to escape.
Police investigation showed the victim was traversing the barangay road on board his green Suzuki motorcycle (PNR: AA 30039) when ambushed.
The victim died on thespit due to gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.
