CEBU Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, continues to boost its international network to address the rising demand for travel as it adds flights from Manila to Dubai beginning July 2, bringing its total to 10x weekly.

CEB will operate the additional Manila-Dubai flight 5J 18 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, scheduled to depart Manila at 10:20 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 3:25 a.m. the next day.

This is on top of daily flights with 5J 14 to depart from Manila at 7:20 p.m. and 12:45 a.m. arrival in Dubai.

“This is a chance for every Juan to experience a bit of what Dubai has to offer – from its megastructures, shopping, food, and cultural heritage. With the easing of travel protocols in and out of the country, travelers also need not worry about hassles when coming back to the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, CEB Chief Commercial Officer.

Travel requirements when flying to Dubai include a valid tourist visa, passport valid for six months upon arrival, applicable Philippine Travel Tax Certificate (PH Tax), and any of the following: valid vaccination certificates (in Arabic or English) that reflect the completion of doses of vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), provided with QR code.

A valid negative COVID-19 test certificate (in Arabic or English) based on a molecular diagnostic test issued within 48 hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health service provider, with a QR code.

Also, a valid medical certificate (in Arabic or English) issued by the relevant authorities that the passenger has recovered from COVID-19 within one month (the date of recovery and the date of arrival) is provided with a QR code System.

On the other hand, fully vaccinated travelers coming to the Philippines are exempted from presenting pre-departure COVID-19 test results for entry if they have received at least one booster shot.

CEB urges its passengers to check with the authorities of their destination for the latest protocols and requirements. For more information, passengers may refer to the CEB Travel reminders page for the latest updates and complete travel guidelines to their destination.

CEB continues offering guaranteed low fares to stimulate travel across its network.

It continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety while it operates with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure “every Juan” flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
