TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — Cavite will shift to Alert Level 3 from October 20 to 31, 2021, according to the IATF order issued October 19, 2021.
“There is some relief but we need to continue to follow the COVID-19 preventive guidelines and health protocols,” said Cavite Provincial Governor Juanito Victor ‘Jonvic’ Remulla Jr.
Under Alert Level 3, the allowable capacity has been increased to 30% for dine in restaurants and 50% for outdoor dining; for social events, 30% of the capacity can be held indoors and 50% outdoors. Salons, barber shops and other personal services have also been increased to 30% of the capacity allowed indoors and 50% outdoors.
“As a reminder, always bring your vaccination card with you, restaurants only allow fully vaccinated individuals inside their places specially in malls,” said Cathy Omarali, PR Head of SM Malls Cavite.
Religious gathering, venues for social events, necrological services and indoor amusement parks are allowed at 30 percent capacity.
Still not allowed are indoor and outdoor amusement parks, indoor entertainment, horse racing, cockfighting and videoke bars.
COVID-19 cases in the province have also dropped significantly, from 19,936 active cases on September 16, 2021, to 5,284 active cases on October 19, 2021.
