Corregidor Island is located 37 kilometers or 19.9784 (nautical miles) away from the city.

The MOA was signed by Chua; Cynthia Carreon, chair of Corregidor Foundation Incorporated; Rowena Bautista, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Department Manager Corregidor Foundation, Inc., and Abraham Urubio, city administrator.

“One of our plans is to rehaul the island and properly preserve its historical relics to expand the tourism of our city. We are excited for you to see the beauty of Corregidor Island and I believe that little by little our city will be recognized and our economy will be restored to being 1st class,” said Chua.
