Cavite LGUs reopen one-stop-shop for tax payment

NOVELETA, Cavite – At the year’s opening, each locality in Cavite province reopened its “Business One-Stop-Shops” to assist taxpayers for the year 2023.

To make the tax payment process faster and easier, some localities have implemented online registration to speed up the payment transaction, and others are temporarily placing taxpayers in a more spacious and convenient location.

For the second year, the Noveleta LGU (local government unit) set up their “B.O.S.S” (business one-stop-shop) at the 2nd floor of Primark Mall in Barangay Magdiwang for more convenience to local taxpayers as the old Municipal Hall is now under rehabilitation that was submerged in flood water that was hit hard by severe tropical storm Paeng last year.

Noveleta Mayor Dino Chua and Municipal Treasurer Ma. Linda Colina designated all the departments processing tax payments, such as the Business Permit and Licensing Unit, Engineering, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), BFP (Bureau of Fire Protection), and Police. League of Barangay and Municipal Treasurers vowed to speed up the process of paying investors, which will last until January 20, 2023.

While the big cities in the province temporarily placed their respective B.O.S.S in larger areas to prepare for the influx of taxpayers, such as General Trias located on the 2nd floor of Robinsons Place GenTri in Bgy. Tejero and open until January 20, 2023.

In Imus City, the (B.O.S.S.) reopened at the Imus Sports Complex Tuesday, January 3, 2023, for the renewal and new application of business permits in the said city.

Through this, the processing of business permits by business owners will be made easier because, in just at least four steps, they will be able to get their business permits from Imus City LGU.

Imus City Administrator Tito Monzon ensured the smooth flow of services and business permits can be processed at Imus Sports Complex, Poblacion 2-A, until Friday, January 20, 2023, and open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In Bacoor City, the B.O.S.S. is located at the Strike Gym next to the city hall building for a wider area that is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and in the Main Square Satellite Service Center in Molino Boulevard and open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Dasmariñas City launched its “E-BOSS,” or the Electronic Business One-Stop-Shop, and taxpayers and interested parties can follow the detailed step-by-step process for a hassle-free and time-saving procedure before going to the City of Dasmariñas Arena in Congressional Road from January 3 to January 31, 2023, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Dasmariñas LGU encouraged taxpayers to register online via the Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/…/1JGMUjYtZpPZYQR7W1us…/view and for application: https://egovcityofdasmarinas.ph/dasma_bpl/login/portal.

The portals are for the submission of required documents and for taxpayers. Residents can get assistance at the City of Dasmariñas Arena if they are having difficulty accessing the online registration.

Cavite City, Trece Martires, and Tagaytay relaunched their B.O.S.S. system on their city hall grounds.

In Silang, Mayor Kevin Anarna assigned the one-stop-shop on the ground floor of the new municipal hall grounds in Barangay Biga 1 and available from January 3 to 20, 2023.

Kawit, Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Carmona, GMA, Amadeo, Indang, Alfonso, Bailen, Magallanes, Maragondon, and Ternate towns have also installed reopened their taxpayers’ assistance systems.
