MAYOR Oscar “Oca” Malapitan announced that senior citizens in Caloocan who have almost reached 100 years old are now grappling to get their first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine setting aside fears of major side effects.

Mayor Oca said Lola Hilda Bagoso, 90, was among the A2 priority group vaccinees who line up early, along with her children, at the vaccination site in Barangay 176 Phase 2, Package 2 Bagong Silang covered court to get her first jab of AstraZeneca vaccine.

In an interview. Lola Hilda said she and her children wanted to be inoculated to protect them against COVID-19

Magpabakuna na kayo kontra COVID-19,” said Mayor Oca.
