THE Caloocan City government started to implement “No Proof of Vaccination, No Entry” policy following a passage of an Ordinance aimed to regulate the mobility of unvaccinated individuals.

Mayor Osca “Oca” Malapitan said he directed personnel of the City Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (DPSTM) to conduct random inspections for every person to ensure that the ordinance is being implemented.

The ordinance covers all public and private offices, establishments, malls, and public and private markets requiring entering individuals to present their vaccination cards, fill out the health declaration form, or present StaySafe.ph QR code and have their body temperature checked.

He said unvaccinated individuals have a high chance of developing severe symptoms, which can lead to hospitalization or death, and this can be prevented by strictly limiting their mobility.

Meanwhile, the City Health Office continues to encourage residents to get vaccinated for their protection against Covid 19.
