Caloocan administers more than 2M COVID vax doses

THE City Health Office of Caloocan City reported that more than two million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered as of December 1, 2021.

Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan said 90 percent or around 1,089,970 of 1.2 million target population have already received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine while around 907,931 or 77.19 percent of their target have completed the vaccine or fully vaccinated.

A total of 16,907 individuals have also received their booster shots which means that a total of 2,006,818 vaccines have been injected by the city government.

“Maraming maraming salamat sa ating mga healthcare workers at frontliners para sa kanilang patuloy na pangunguna sa ating mass vaccination program. Higit sa lahat, maraming salamat sa ating mga kababayan na nagtiwala sa bakuna at patuloy nating kaisa sa laban sa pandemya,” Mayor Oca said.

The city mayor also called on those who have not yet received their Covid-19 vaccine to get vaccinated for their protection against the virus.
