CAMP BGEN VICENTE LIM, Canlubang, Laguna – Joint police forces arrested a 20-year-old wanted in a rape case in his hiding place in Antipolo Inday Subdivision, Gate 2, Antipolo City around 9:14 a.m. on February 6.

A report to Regional Director, PRO Calabarzon, PBGen. Antonio C. Yarra by Batangas Police Director PCol. Glicerio C. Cansilao said the suspect was identified as Eljhon Cabello Singson, a resident of Barangay Kalabaza, Aurora, Isabela.

Carrying the warrant of arrest issued by acting presiding Judge Randy B. Bulwayan, of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 23, in Roxas, Isabela, Singson who was charged under 5 counts of rape, a violation of Article 266-A Revised Penal Code as amended by Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape law) and Anti-Child Abuse Law (RA 7610).

The suspect is tagged as no. 4 most wanted rapist in Calabarzon and was arrested by the combined forces of Calaca MPS led by PMaj. Arwin Baby M. Caimbon, Office-In-Charge, 403rd A MC Provincial Mobile Force Company (RMFB) 4A, Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 4A, Patrol Investigation Team (PIT) Batangas, and San Manuel MPS operatives of Isabela PPO.
