BAGONG Cabuyao City clobbered LDGA San Pedro City, 102-84, while Batang Lakan ng Bulacan outsteadied Luid Kapampangan, 91-77, in the 2023 Pilipinas Super Liga 18-under Luzon leg basketball championship held at La Consolacion College gym in Mendiola Manila.

Prince Shey Palma, named as Manila Bankers “Super Player of the Game”, fired 35 points to lead the Titans of coach Rhuzzle Delfin, adviser Francis Ignacio and Mayor Dennis Felipe C. Hain to their third win in five outings.

John Mark Navea added 15 points while Cyrus Daniel Roberto and Carl Joshua Barrio contributed 10 points each for the Titans, who are being supported by Councilor JunJun Batallones, Youth and Sports Head Atty. Dan Rafhael H. Palis and Sports Commitee head Aldrin Del Rosario.

Assisting Delfin on bench are Johan Rosas, Aldrin Del Rosario, Ronnie Gimarangan and consultant Dennis Tarectecan.

Shadrach Chamg topscored with a39 points for coach Richard Penaranda’s LDGA-San Pedro, which suffered its second loss in four matches.

The Hagonoy, Bulacan- based Batang Lakan of coach Louie Empleo, consultant Councilor Chris Baluyot and team manager Eziquel Vitan relied on Kelly Emmir Coronel, Ruzzel James del Poso, Jasper Delos Reyes and Khio Barroga in beating Luid Kapampangan.

Coronel topscored with 16 points, followed by Del Poso, Delos Reyes and Barroga with 13 points apiece for the Batang Lakan of team owner Mark Al Sato.

The team improved its record to 2-3 win-loss card.

Jharmaine Lecciones and Joan Cruz scored 25 and 19 points respectively for Luid Kapampangan which dropped to 2-2 record. AA
