CAAP participates in One at Sky: Air Forum 2023

THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) participated in the “One At Sky: Air Forum 2023,” held Tuesday at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, Newport World Resorts Pasay City.

Themed “Fly High for the Blue Economy: Creating Synergy for the Development of Maritime Industry,” this event shows the collaboration between CAAP and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) towards a cooperation in safeguarding the air and seas of the Philippines.

As the country’s national aviation authority, CAAP is entrusted with the management, operation, development, and certification of airports, air navigation facilities, and personnel across the Philippines. Recognizing the importance of building synergies and collaboration with other agencies, CAAP aims to explore new horizons for cooperation.

“Our industries have a unique chance to collaborate on various fronts as we safeguard and manage the air and seas of the Philippines. By pooling our expertise, resources, and innovative thinking, we can drive forward the development of sustainable practices and solutions that benefit not only our sectors but also the rest of the country,” Assistant Director General for Air Traffic Service (ATS), Marlene I. Singson said as she delivered CAAP’s message on behalf of Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo.

The “One At Sky: Air Forum 2023” event also welcomed its guests of honor, including PCG Aviation Force Acting Commander CG Captain Dino B. Garcia and PCG Commandant, CG ADM Artemio M. Abu.
