THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and with the contribution of the South Cooperation Assistance Fund of China (SSCAF), is conducting a five-day Civil Aviation Master Planning (CAMP) Course at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) from April 17-21.

Sponsored by the SSCAF, the training course is a resource mobilization training project implemented by ICAO to develop and deliver the training on Civil Aviation Master Planning to support the recovery of global aviation from the COVID-19 pandemic and other future challenges.

The course aims to provide senior and middle managers of civil aviation authorities (CAAs) with the competencies required to develop, implement, and update a Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP), in accordance with the relevant ICAO provisions.

In his opening message, CAAP Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo encouraged the participants to fully utilize the workshop, adding, “This is a clear manifestation of the continuous and meaningful collaboration amongst the ICAO, the government of China, and the Philippines towards further improving local aviation.”
