THE UAAP has recently released the schedule of the rest of its sports for Season 84.

“Marami pa tayong events,” UAAP Executive Director Rebo Saguisag said in a recent press conference. “We want to give importance to each and every sporting event.”

University of Santo Tomas opens its quest for a third consecutive men’s beach volleyball championship on Friday at the Sands SM By the Bay. It will also be held on Saturday and Sunday, and will resume on June 3, 4 and 5.

La Salle also eyes for a three-peat in the one-day poomsae competition on May 31 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Far Eastern University stakes its men’s and women’s chess titles beginning June 1. The chess competition will last until June 15.

The UAAP will be bringing its 3×3 competition to the Calatagan, Batangas on June 1-2. The 3×3 tournament will be played as a regular event for the first time.

The league has just concluded its men’s basketball tournament, where University of the Philippines ended a 36-year title drought, as well as the cheerdance competition, where FEU was crowned as the new champion.

Second round of the women’s volleyball tournament will start on Thursday, with the elimination round ending on June 9.
