BULACAN Vice Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado has expressed confidence that the tri-modal project in Bulacan will help end the crisis brought by pandemic in the province and even in the entire nation.

The Tri-modal project is composed of three giant infrastructure projects, the land port, seaport, and airport. The airport is currently being implemented.

“Babangon ang bansang Pilipinas at magmumula sa lalawigan ng Bulacan sa pamamagitan ng tri-modal project ang land port, seaport at airport na sinisimulan na sa bayan ng Bulakan, Bulakan hanggang sa Obando,” Alvarado said.

“This is ten times bigger than the NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). There will be 200 hectares were all national government buildings, departments and agencies buildings will be relocated and there will be economic zone were almost one hundred corporation will locate three of them na nagpahayag na ng kanilang i-transfer ang kanilang regional headquarter ang LG, Faxton and Samsung with 150,000 employees each, near 450,000 or almost half million out of 100 corporations,” Alvarado said.

Alvarado said the mega dike and flood control projects will also be implemented and the size of the river will be doubled compared to the prestigious Swiss Canal of Panama.

He said even President Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte himself knew that the projects are the answers to the economic crisis brought about by the pandemic, prompting the latter to urge him with former Bulacan Gov. Jonjon Mendoza to take care of the projects’ implementation.

To realize the programs, Alvarado said Bulacan needs a captain who is veteran and not an on the-job-trainee (OJT).
