Bulacan police nets 7 drug suspects, 8 wanted men in 1 day

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Seven drug personalities and eight wanted persons were arrested in a one-day anti-crime operation by the Bulacan police.

Bulacan acting police director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr. identified the seven drug suspects arrested by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Hagonoy, Marilao and Meycauayan police as Michael Nicola alias “Mike,” of Sto. Niño, Hagonoy; Jerry Cruz, of Lawa, Meycauayan City; Arnold Talastas Jr., of Ninang 2nd, Bocaue; Reynaldo Dizon alias “Rey” of Taal, Bocaue; Spencer Cariño, of San Juan, Balagatas; Michael Napa alias “Pilay” and Mark Joson both from Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan.

Some 10 sachets of shabu, 14 sachets of dried marijuana leaves and buy-bust money were seized from the suspects.

Meanwhile, eight persons wanted by law were caught in manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Bocaue, Bustos, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Miguel police and members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Plridel and CSJDM.

The eight were identified as Rosabell Joson, of Pulong Bayabas, San Miguel and Conchita Alcantara alias “Chit,” of Cambaog, Bustos, both arrested for violation of BP 22 (Anti-Bouncing Check Law); Rodel dela Cruz, of Lolomboy, Bocaue, for light threats and malicious mischief; Maribel Genese, of Lumang Bayan, Plaridel, for child abuse; James Subrado alias Jojo, of Iba, Meycauayan City, for three counts of acts of lasciviousness; Lester Kyle Fernandez alias “Buboy,” of Bahay Pare, Meycauayan City, for resistance and disobedience to a person in authority; Marvin Baliño, of Lawang Pare, CSJDM, and Marita Castro, of San Vicente Malolos, both for qualified theft.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay commended the police teams as he vowed to step-up operations against all forms of crime in the region.
