Buhay kicks off 1st day of poll campaign
BUHAY PARTYLIST led by Cong. Lito Atienza kicked off the first day of the campaign for the 2025 elections on Tuesday through simultaneous gatherings in Manila held at the Pope Pius XII Catholic Center and at the Cebu Laiko Center with the celebration of the Holy Mass and Blessing of nominees.
Cong. Atienza and Nominees Dr. Rene Bullecer and Carlos Sario are working on returning to Congress to continue BUHAY’s fight for life and the promotion of a culture of life – which had been sacrificed in recent years when it had no representatives.
During his speech, Atienza vowed to continue BUHAY’s fight against anti-life and anti-family measures, fighting corruption and working on more bills aimed at improving the lives of Filipinos.
Atienza served as BUHAY Partylist Representative in the 16th to the 18th Congress from 2013 to 2022. During his three terms, Atienza consistently spoke out and voted against anti-life measures such as divorce, same-sex marriage, and the death penalty. Just a few days into his first term, he spoke on the floor denouncing the pork barrel scam, which the Supreme Court later unanimously declared as unconstitutional.
