Bro. Eddie prays over VP Sara during JIL summit
CITIZENS Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC) Party-list Representative Eduardo “Bro. Eddie” Villanueva prayed over Vice President Sara Duterte during the Annual Leaders’ Summit of JIL (Jesus Is Lord) Church Worldwide held in Quezon City, attended by around 1,000 pastors and leaders from all over the world.
“It is a command of God to pray for those who are in authority. When you do the command of God, you will please the heart of God, and that will be a key for our nation to be blessed,” Villanueva said.
For her part, Vice President Duterte said, “Personally, I found it comforting that the people of God has been praying for the nation. Your prayers have truly changed lives, one people at a time. I hope that as we pray for healing, victory, and deliverance, we will also be blessed with the gift of unity as we walk in this post-pandemic world. We have nothing but prayers but prayers are everything. Thank you for your support, especially for Bro. Eddie and all the JIL pastors.”
The JIL Church, founded by Villanueva, a Bishop, will celebrate its 44th anniversary on October 29.
