Boying Remulla accepts DOJ nomination
CAVITE 7th District Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla has accepted the offer to become Justice secretary of president-in-waiting Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
He will succeed Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra.
“Alam naman niya (Marcos Jr.) that I really work hard, I am devoted to my duties, that’s why it doesn’t take much, when you are told by the president, it’s understood already but the specific things we will have to talk about it later, because the justice system has many problems we need to fix,” said Remulla.
He admitted that as a lawyer, it is a huge opportunity to serve the country as head of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Remulla ran unopposed as Cavite congressman.
Earlier, Marcos Jr. named presumptive vice president Sara Duterte as the next Education secretary, while former Metro Manila Development Authority chairperson Benhur Abalos as Interior and Local Government secretary.
