Boy, 9 , found dead, with blanket looped around neck
PROBERS are investigating the death of a 9-year-old boy whose body was found with blanket looped around his neck on Saturday night inside his house in Quezon City.
A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District showed the incident was discovered by the victim’s uncle at around 7:20 p.m. October 23, 2021 at the victim’s house in Barangay Alicia.
According to the victim’s uncle when he arrived at the house he noticed that his nephew was in a sitting position on top of the bed with blanket looped around his neck.
The blanket was reportedly tied to the window grill.
When checked, the boy no longer breathing, prompting the uncle to seek assistance from other relatives.
They immediately rushed the victim to the Sioson Hospital where he was pronounced DOA 7:20 p.m. by Dr. Renz Victor Guangco, the attending physician.
