HIGHLIGHTING “serbisyong tatak Duterte”, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go commended Vice President and Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte for her successful first 100 days in office and for garnering high approval and trust ratings in the latest surveys.

Based on the data gathered from September 16 to 20, PUBLiCUS revealed that VP Duterte earned 66% approval and 62% trust ratings. The survey had 1,500 respondents randomly drawn from the market research panel of over 200,000 Filipinos from the National Capital Region, North Central Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Go cited that he was no longer surprised with the result of the survey given that he has witnessed over the years how hard-working and committed then mayor of Davao City Sara Duterte is.

Knowing her for the past 15 years niya sa public service when she started as vice mayor, alam ko talagang masipag po siyang magtrabaho at mapagkakatiwalaan,” shared Go in an ambush interview after he personally led a relief activity in San Juan City on October 10.

“So hindi po ako nagtataka kung mataas ang kanyang approval at trust rating at alam ko pong patuloy po s’yang magtatrabaho para sa ating kababayan,” he added.

Go also lauded President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. for getting 62% and 58% approval and trust ratings, respectively.

“Also with President Bongbong Marcos, mataas din po ang kanyang approval and trust rating. As a senator, very satisfied naman ako sa first 100 days ng ating Pangulong Bongbong Marcos,” he expressed.

The senator then urged fellow Filipinos to remain supportive of the Marcos Administration, saying, “Napakaaga pa po, bigyan ho natin ng pagkakataon si Pangulong Marcos.

So, bigyan natin sila ng pagkakataon, not only support, but full support para maging successful po ang ating administrasyon,” he added.

Meanwhile, Go expressed his gratitude to President Marcos for signing Republic Act No. 11934, otherwise known as the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Card Registration Act of 2022, on October 10. This is the first measure enacted into law during the Marcos administration.

Citing how he was also a victim of spam messages and other fraudulent cellular phone activities, Go co-authored and co-sponsored the said law that shall require consumers to register their SIM cards before activation by submitting an accomplished registration form and presenting a valid government ID or other necessary documents to prove their identification.

Go before he attended the ceremonial signing of the Act at the Malacañan Palace on the same day.
