NETIZENS have accused Tricia Robredo, the daughter of presidential candidate Leni Robredo, of underhanded tactics against frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos while conducting house-to-house campaigning for her mother.
She was seen distributing flyers with a layout showing Leni and Kiko and urging the people to vote for them but it was discovered that the back page of the flyers contained negative articles against Marcos.
Netizens lashed out at Robredo camp, saying they were so desperate and would do anything just to disparage Marcos.
A Cielo Andrade, of Sta. Cruz, Manila, strongly condemned the “dilaw na dilaw” Robredo camp for pretending to be good and decent while going all out to destroy BBM in the eyes of the people.
Tricia posted on her own Twitter account about the house-to-house campaign she conducted in Bgy. Baesa.
“Bumisita naman kami sa Baesa kaninang hapon. Marami pala kaming kababayan na nakatira rito! Ang sayang makapag-Bikol ulit. Dios mabalos po. #TaoTaoParaKayRobredo #LeniKiko2022,” was the caption of a photo she posted on her Twitter account @jpgrobredo.
Tricia posted four photos: one was of her waving; another was a man holding a Leni-Kiko tarpaulin; one was a groupie with four women, and another one of her with her arms draped on the shoulders of an old woman.
What caught netizens’ attention, however, was the groupie, where one of the women was holding one of the flyers that Tricia and her group were distributing. But in the photo, it was the back page of the flyer which was visible.
When a netizen zoomed in on the said photo, they discovered that the said page contained photos and narratives maligning Marcos.
Tricia, or Janine Patricia Robredo, is Leni’s second of three daughters she had with the late Jesse Robredo. She is a doctor and is very active in her mother’s campaign.
“Doktora pa naman siya tapos siya pa ang pasimuno ng negative campaign. Wala naman talaga sila alam gawin kundi siraan si BBM? Grabe sila,” said a certain Gabby Tenorio, a resident of Novaliches, Quezon City.
In an earlier interview, Tricia and her sisters claimed that if it were up to them, they didn’t want Leni to gun for the presidency.
